Nick Borelli’s photography honors our ever-changing planet while incorporating subtle movement to enhance the amazing world we live in. Growing up in Santa Cruz, CA, Nick was always fascinated by waves and surfing and began photographing them for publication after returning home from The University of Massachusetts Amherst. Knowing there was so much more to photograph, and through the guidance of great teachers and mentors he moved his focus into earth’s wildness and internal components of the landscape that make up the whole.

“As I look at a landscape, I try to capture broad views to express vastness, but also concentrate on little pieces that make the earth so special. I explore various angles and wait for light to explode the color and contrast various shade of black and white. My hope is to bring the viewer to a beautiful, peaceful place.” –Nick Borelli
